The XX

Three 19-year-olds from South-West London make up The XX, and their recent debut album was received with critical acclaim. It was released on XL's subsidiary label Young Turks and featured production from stars such as Diplo and Kwes, as well as from the band themselves. Praise for the album and the band has come from Rolling Stone, NME, MTV and Metacritic. Things look good for the future!

MartyParty

South African artist MartyParty has come into the limelight of late... His musical style described as 'IDM-based hip-hop' has come to public awareness since he teamed up with Josh Mayer of the infamous Glitch Mob. Together they formed the duo PANTyRAID and have signed to Adam Freeland's Marine Parade label.

His dirty dubstep mashup does a great job on the original 'Infinity' by The XX. It goes to show just how versatile dubstep can be... Big tune from an unexpected source!
